Chili Paste/Sauce

I enjoy eating dimsum especially when I am craving for something spicy and Asian. Some years ago, siomai stalls proliferated the malls and other public places like train stations (in our case MRT, LRTA 1 and 2). However, i was a bit disappointed with the chili sauce since i have high tolerance for spicy foods. It didn't give me the satisfaction i was looking for. I asked my aunts ways on how to cook chili sauce, and this is what i came up with.

Ingredients:
Vegetable oil
Red chili
Garlic
1-2 tbsp. Soy Sauce

Note that i have no exact measurements for this.

Procedure:
1. Saute the garlic and chili in vegetable oil. This should be cooked on low fire.
2. When you can smell the chili, throw it in the blender to grind it, then put it back to the pan.
3. If it is too thick you can add some more oil. Add the soy sauce.

Note: AVOID THE FUME/SMOKE WHEN YOU BLEND/GRIND/PROCESS THE CHILI MIXTURE.
